We want to hear from you!
Dear Fellow Parishioners:
The Rector Search Committee wants to hear from you! Our process is underway, and we are inviting everyone in the Christ Church community to participate in an online survey. The results will give us a clear picture of who we are as a church, what we’re looking for in our next rector, and our hopes and dreams for the future of Christ Church.
We will be using the same Congregation Assessment Tool (CAT) we used during our search for a new rector in 2011 and for strategic planning in 2015. Many of the questions will be familiar, which will allow us to see how Christ Church has grown and changed over time.
This is a particularly important time in the life of our parish, and we need your input to help us discern who is called to be our next rector.
Who is invited to participate?
The CAT survey is open to every active member of the Christ Church community, including:
• anyone who attends a worship service at Christ Church, either regularly or occasionally
• anyone who is actively involved in a Christ Church program or ministry
• anyone who would like to become more actively involved at Christ Church in the future
• youth (ages 16 and up)
How do I get started?
Next week, you will receive a link to the Christ Church CAT by email. The survey will take about 20 or 30 minutes to complete. Every member of your family is encouraged to complete the survey so please be sure to share it across your family, including those 16 and older. Please also know that your responses are completely anonymous. The survey will be online from Monday, March 21st through Friday, April 8th.
If you have any questions, please feel free to contact any member of the Rector Search Committee.
Thank you,
Rector Search Committee
