Hear Our Story

Bob+Bradner.jpg

Our late parishioner, Bob Bradner wrote a brief history of Christ Church in 2005. He was a parishioner at Christ Church for more than 50 years and led key initiatives throughout his time as a member of Christ Church. Bob treasured Christ Church and believed in respecting and honoring our past, while continuing to look forward to the future God was calling Christ Church toward. Bob loved to give tours of the church to interested parties of all ages, where he shared stories of service, dedication, and generosity which had helped to build this community. Bob passed from this earthly life in November 2020 and is interred in our Memorial Garden next to his wife, Jeanne.

The Church on the Hill

The Church on the Hill is named because of its hilltop location on Sheridan Road. Our sanctuary was dedicated in 1905. It is a traditional stone church and was the gift
of the William Hoyt family.
