Junior Warden
Dan George
Dan George and his wife Leslie joined Christ Church over 25 years ago when their first of three daughters was born. Emily, Molly and Lindsey were all baptized and confirmed at Christ Church and enjoyed participating in the choir and serving as acolytes. Dan has served as a Vestry member and also as Treasurer. He is currently on the Finance and Investment Committees.
Professionally, Dan is an investment consultant advising endowments and foundations in the nonprofit sector as well as high-net clients for Captrust Advisors. He graduated from Miami University with a degree in finance and met Leslie there.
While Dan has joined his daughters on numerous choir trips and also served on a global mission trip to southeast Mexico, his favorite Christ Church function is the annual Tent Party that kicks off Rummage season. It is a fun evening of fellowship that begins the work of Christ Church’s largest ministry of turning donated items into significant support for the many nonprofit agencies supported by Christ Church.
In his free time, Dan enjoys playing tennis, pickleball and guitar. He and his family enjoy time at any beach, travel and hiking.
