St. Leonard’s Ministries (SLM) is a sanctuary for recently paroled people. It is a safe, supportive community that provides personalized support and attention to each person to renew their body, mind, and spirit, so that they are empowered to live with dignity.
SLM transforms lives through safe, supportive housing, mental and behavioral health care, abundant educational opportunities through high school diploma, and diverse job skill training and ongoing spiritual care.
The holistic approach creates exceptionally low recidivism rates. 95% of women and 85% of men remain free after completing the St. Leonard’s program.
Christ Church parishioners serve as mentors to residents. Christ Church also provides important leadership for SLM.
