Formation for Young Children:
Sundays, September– May
9:30 am |
|
The
religious formation program we employ for young children is The
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd. The Atrium is a specially prepared
environment that seeks to assist the child's developing religious
life. Specially designed materials that depict scripture and liturgy
are available for the children to work with weekly.
Children
join parents at the Peace for Eucharist and then return to the
Atria during Church School hour.

Church School Curriculum:
Programs for children and young people use scripture and liturgy
to allow for a growing understanding of our Episcopal faith and
practice. Drama, music, field trips, and age-appropriate projects
and activities, which serve to extend the learning process, are
incorporated throughout the year. The curricula are often
supplemented using a variety of resources since we often customize
the year to fit the interests of both teacher and students. At all
levels we incorporate outreach activities appropriate to age and
skill level.
